What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare pleadings, discovery, correspondence, trial binders, and other litigation documents.
• Calendar Management: Manage multiple attorney calendars and competing priorities effectively.
• E-Filing: Handle electronic filing processes and court submission requirements with accuracy.
• Procedure Application: Apply strong knowledge of California state court procedures, e-filing, calendaring, and litigation deadlines.
• Document Organization: Prepare, format, and organize legal documents for active case matters.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Core domain knowledge in California state court procedures, e-filing, calendaring, and litigation deadlines.
• Experience: 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience in a law firm, specifically supporting business, commercial, or complex civil litigation matters.
• Skills: Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems. Proven ability to handle electronic filing processes and court submission requirements with accuracy.
