• Mission: This person coordinates case management, processes legal documents, and provides comprehensive support for litigation matters, ensuring efficient legal service delivery.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Coordinate the creation of case management repositories and manage case file organization, including ECF downloading and distribution.
• Document Preparation & Filing: Generate, format, prepare, and organize legal documents and exhibits for filing and service, coordinating with local counsel and process servers; electronically file court papers, adhering to jurisdictional rules.
• Docketing & Scheduling: Inform the Litigation Docketing Department of new matters and ensure timely communication of all relevant documents; schedule and coordinate depositions, managing calendars and transcript distribution.
• Expert & Client Support: Communicate with expert witnesses to coordinate logistics and assist with report drafting, and communicate with clients to answer or direct inquiries.
• Trial Support: Participate in pre-trial planning, coordinate trial logistics, provide on-site support during trial events, and manage post-trial shutdown.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment, focused on legal services delivery.
• Experience: Proficiency in electronic court filing (ECF) procedures and general legal document handling.
• Skills: Strong organizational abilities for case file management and document coordination; attention to detail for legal document formatting and filing rules; effective communication for interacting with clients, experts, and internal departments; ability to adapt to current and future responsibilities.
• Bonus: Experience with patent litigation is preferred. Paralegal Certification preferred.
