• Mission: Provides essential clerical and administrative support to attorneys and legal assistants to facilitate the progression of litigation cases.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide clerical assistance to legal assistants and attorneys to aid in the collaborative efforts of moving cases forward.
• Document Management: Maintain and process legal documents efficiently within the firm’s document storage software.
• Court Filings: Prepare and electronically file litigation documents with various court systems as required.
• Correspondence: Draft and prepare a variety of outgoing letters for professional communication.
• Database Updates: Maintain and accurately update critical databases, including the e-cabinet system and the firm’s custom case management system.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No prior experience is required; however, previous experience in a law office with a general understanding of the litigation process is a plus.
• Skills: Strong grammar, spelling, and general math skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and maintain strict attention to detail; ability to work independently, strong proficiency at multi-tasking, punctuality, and dependability; knowledge of office procedures and operation of office machines such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines.
• Bonus: Excellent critical thinking skills, superior computer skills and knowledge, a proactive work ethic, and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including both verbal and written.
