Legal Assistant | Zwicker & Associates, P.C.

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Zwicker & Associates, P.C., located in Round Rock, TX. Zwicker & Associates, P.C. is a national creditor rights law firm, founded in 1991, that serves as an industry leader in debt collection by emphasizing ethics, compliance, and assertive representation for prestigious lending institutions across the United States. This role provides essential onsite legal administrative support, contributing to the firm’s mission of protecting clients’ legal interests nationwide by managing documents, processing data, and assisting with office operations.

• Pay: $20 hourly
• Team: Reports to the Office Manager and supports on-site attorneys
• Mission: Manage legal documents, analyze and process data, and provide administrative support to ensure efficient operations.
• Tech Stack: Internal software, Microsoft Office suite (specifically strong Excel skills)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Data Analysis: Analyze and process data to ensure proper workflow adherence meets the expectations of both clients and Zwicker & Associates.
• Administrative Support: Provide high-level legal administrative and office management support to the Office Manager and on-site attorneys.
• Documentation & Filing: Prepare documentation for attorney review and file pleadings, both paper and e-file, with various state-specific court systems.
• Record Management: Utilize internal software to properly update and document the status of each account within the assigned inventory.
• Communication: Answer incoming calls and communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and outside parties.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level candidate eager to learn and provide legal administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience: Proficient computer skills, including strong experience with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities, excellent oral and written communication skills, and great attention to detail. Professionalism and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
