Job Title: Lighting Design Intern

Location: Denver or Los Angeles office

Working with us, you will:

  • Work on integrated architecture and engineering project design teams.
  • Produce electrical design drawings using the latest design software.
  • Compile data and prepare design solutions.
  • Prepare calculations utilizing AG132 software.
  • Participate in design meetings.
  • Receive mentorship from experienced lighting design professionals.
  • Visit a construction site(s) and/or completed project sites.

An ideal candidate has:

  • Completed at least their sophomore year or have graduate standing in an accredited electrical engineering, architectural engineering or lighting design program by the time of the internship.
  • Relevant course work in lighting design along with an interest in lighting within the building industry.
  • Some experience with current design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, AGI32 and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $21.15 to $25.00 per hour, at the time of posting.
  • You are eligible to receive overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 in a work week.
  • Our 12-week summer internships are held between May-August.
