The Oaks Academy, located in Brownwood, Texas, is a secure post-adjudication facility for young men (13-17). Job Description:

The Licensed Therapist at The Oaks Academy plays a critical role in providing therapeutic services to young men in a secure setting. The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities focused on supporting the mental and emotional well-being of the youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing individual, family, and group therapy.
• Overseeing the completion of treatment for students.
• Conducting clinical assessments.
• Developing and implementing service plans.
• Providing counseling and case management services.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Coordinating services with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Documenting and assessing the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.
• Providing crisis intervention when necessary.
• Completing monthly progress notes, staffing reports, plans, and discharge summaries.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay: \$63,000 annually (can increase based on education and experience)
Sign-On Bonus: \$2,000 (\$1,000 at 3 months, \$1,000 at 6 months)

Qualifications:

• Arkansas license as a LPC, LAC, LMSW, LCSW, OR LMFT
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Must be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
• Must meet requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having an active Driver’s License

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Onsite)
