The firm focuses on complex business disputes across various sectors. This role is essential for providing comprehensive administrative and legal support, enabling attorneys to manage high-impact cases in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare, format, and accurately file legal documents, including pleadings and discovery materials, ensuring compliance with court rules.
• Case Management: Manage calendars, track court deadlines, and organize case files while maintaining accurate records and databases.
• Coordination: Coordinate effectively with courts, opposing counsel, clients, and internal team members regarding case logistics.
• Scheduling & Travel: Arrange meetings, hearings, and travel as needed for attorneys.
• Quality Assurance: Assist with assembling exhibits and proofread all documents to ensure accuracy and detail.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Strong foundational knowledge of law and legal procedures, with experience supporting litigation matters and a background as a legal assistant or in a similar legal support role.
• Experience: Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, e-filing, and organizing pleadings and discovery materials. Demonstrated expertise with legal practice management software, Microsoft Office applications, and electronic court filing systems.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, strong proofreading abilities, and effective diary management skills.
• Bonus: Prior experience in commercial or employment litigation is preferred; experience in financial services-related matters is a plus. A certificate or degree in paralegal studies, legal administration, or a related field is beneficial.
