Litigation Assistant | AAA Auto Club Enterprises
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at AAA Auto Club Enterprises. This role is crucial in providing advanced administrative and secretarial support to attorneys, focusing on complex legal document preparation, review, and processing. Your work will directly contribute to the efficient operation of legal matters and support the delivery of legendary service to members.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Document Production: Prepare and proofread a variety of legal documents, including summons, complaints, motions, and legal opinions, in strict compliance with court rules and attorney instructions, utilizing legal software applications.
• Case File Data Management: Accurately input and update all legal file data, such as correspondence, notices, documents, billing, and expenditures, into the case management system, and respond to related inquiries.
• Attorney Calendar Administration: Manage and maintain attorney calendars by effectively scheduling and confirming appointments and court appearances, proactively resolving any calendar conflicts that may arise.
• Document and Mail Processing: Systematically file all correspondence and legal documents according to established law office standards, and process all incoming and outgoing mail efficiently.
• Compliance and Reporting: Maintain and actively monitor a comprehensive diary system for litigated files to ensure ongoing compliance with all statutory requirements, and prepare necessary reports and payment drafts.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School GED.
• Experience: 4-6 years of secretarial and/or legal experience, utilizing accepted legal support and office organization practices. Minimum typing speed of 55-60 corrected words per minute is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to express ideas clearly, effectively, and persuasively in both oral and written communication; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook; capability to compose, prepare, proofread, and type correspondence.
• Bonus: Knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures; demonstrated behavior competencies in results orientation, customer service, continuous improvement, teamwork, collaboration, and valuing diversity.
