Legal Resource Assistant Floater Floor Support | Arnold & Porter

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and emails with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Legal Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and organizational support for trials, depositions, client meetings, and case strategy sessions, including materials management.
• Calendar and Travel Management: Manage complex attorney calendars, schedule various meetings and virtual sessions, and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
• Financial Processing: Process and track expenses and invoices using Emburse, and review, edit, and finalize client invoices in partnership with accounting and e-billing teams.
• File and Information Management: Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and track attorney state and federal court admissions and renewals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma is required.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential, along with familiarity with databases and internet research.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), and strong time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Bonus: An associate’s or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
