This is an entry-level Legal Project Analyst role at TalentAlly, supporting Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. Manatt is a multidisciplinary, integrated national professional services firm known for quality and an extraordinary commitment to clients, comprising over 500 professionals and 350 business professionals. This inaugural program offers a unique opportunity for a motivated recent college graduate to gain hands-on legal and project management experience in a collaborative professional services environment. The role provides meaningful exposure to the legal process and is ideal for developing foundational legal and project management skills while contributing to high-impact client work, serving as a valuable learning experience about the practice of law before potentially pursuing law school.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Support Coordination: Coordinate logistics for client requests, team meetings, depositions, and closings, while also facilitating communication among clients, attorneys, and third parties.
• Document Drafting & Management: Assist attorneys in preparing pleadings, corporate documents, entity formations, and contracts, and meticulously track and organize witness materials, document productions, and filings.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive statistical, factual, and legal research, including policy research and regulatory monitoring, then compile and analyze the findings for legal teams.
• Case and Transactional Administration: Maintain case files, document databases, and data rooms, prepare audit letters, and conduct UCC searches and filings to support ongoing matters.
• AI Agent Creation: Create and maintain AI agents to enhance general practice group projects and integrate artificial intelligence into daily professional operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an entry-level position requiring a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college, with a demonstrated interest in law. The role is part of an inaugural program designed for recent college graduates looking to explore the legal field.
• Experience: Candidates must be willing to commit to the role for approximately two years and possess a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and work well under pressure within a team environment. The position may require overtime, including evenings and weekends, as business needs dictate.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills are critical, alongside proficiency in creating AI agents and an excitement to integrate AI in a professional environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: A strong academic record is preferred, along with demonstrated reliability and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a hybrid team setting. The firm operates on a hybrid work schedule requiring in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday, with flexibility for onsite work up to five days per week.
