Job Description: Legal Intern
This internship offers direct support to Dragonfly’s legal team, contributing to a comprehensive and efficient deal flow process. Interns will work alongside leading experts in cryptocurrency and law, assisting some of the most prominent crypto companies and token projects. The role demands adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced entrepreneurial setting, promising rapid career advancement. While a summer internship is possible for the right candidate, the internship is primarily anticipated for Fall 2025. The position is paid and does not necessitate course credit, though Dragonfly will assist in obtaining it if needed.
Functional Responsibilities:
• Provide general support to the legal team.
• Conduct research on legal and regulatory issues related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Review existing agreements for compliance.
• Assist in revising and updating standard agreements.
• Participate in reviewing, analyzing, drafting, and negotiating various contracts, including financing documents and vendor agreements.
Requirements:
• Current enrollment in an accredited law school.
• Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship from Dragonfly.
• Ability to work remotely with personal computer access.
• Strong curiosity and a commitment to in-depth analysis of complex legal matters.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail, and a confident, discreet demeanor.
• Excellent interpersonal, pattern recognition, and project management skills, combined with a strong work ethic.
• Self-reliance and the ability to work independently within a dynamic environment; taking ownership of tasks, addressing issues, and learning from mistakes.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Enthusiasm for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $18.75 to $22.50, depending on experience, with a 20-hour-per-week expectation.
