What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Communication: Interview clients and provide regular updates on the status of their cases.
• Evidence Collection: Gather all necessary information, evidence, and documentation required to build robust legal cases.
• Record Procurement: Request and obtain essential documents such as police reports, medical records, and bills for clients.
• Data Management: Utilize the Firm’s software for new client data entry and to scan and save all case-related documentation into the system.
• Performance Reporting: Generate daily and weekly reports detailing the results of all assigned tasks and responsibilities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level candidates demonstrating a strong aptitude for client support and structured organizational practices. This role provides full training on specific legal department responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for those starting their career in the legal field.
• Experience: No prior legal experience is strictly required, but a background in customer service is preferred, which would provide a valuable foundation for client interaction and communication in this role.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, proven ability for diligent follow-up and consistent follow-through on tasks, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and practical knowledge of internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software for daily tasks.
• Bonus: Prior customer service experience, which would be beneficial for effectively interviewing clients and providing case updates.
