What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Preparation: Prepare and meticulously review all necessary legal documents for Plaintiff’s foreclosure matters, including complaints, summons, and lis pendens.
• Service of Process Management: Handle the full scope of service of process, encompassing summons issuance, continuous communication with process servers, and drafting Motions for Extension of Time to Serve, along with affidavit preparation.
• Case File Management: Systematically organize and maintain comprehensive case files, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and adherence to established legal protocols.
• Client and Vendor Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, communicating frequently with firm clients and external vendors to review case specifics and facilitate timely updates.
• Administrative and Compliance Support: Provide essential administrative assistance to attorneys, manage crucial deadlines, and ensure all office operations align with legal procedures and efficiency standards.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced professional with a comprehensive background in the legal field, demonstrating a strong understanding of mortgage foreclosure and creditor’s rights litigation. This role requires an individual already familiar with established legal procedures and protocols.
• Experience: A minimum of prior work experience within a law office is strictly required. Candidates must possess familiarity with foreclosure law, including the intricacies of docket review and legal procedures. A fundamental understanding of the specific requirements for various types of service of process—personal, substitute, and constructive—is also essential.
• Skills: Proven proficiency in preparing a range of legal documents such as complaints, summons, lis pendens, Motions for Extension of Time to Serve, and affidavits. Excellent communication skills are necessary for frequent interaction with firm clients and vendors, alongside strong organizational abilities for effective case file management and deadline adherence.
• Bonus: Preference will be given to candidates who bring prior experience working specifically with a Plaintiff’s foreclosure or creditor’s firm, providing an immediate advantage in the specialized area of practice.
