What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Handle billable legal tasks and ensure accurate timekeeping for client matters.
• Support: Independently assist with various aspects of New Jersey criminal law cases.
• Organize: Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple ongoing legal matters and administrative duties.
• Initiative: Proactively address case needs and provide support to attorneys for case progression.
• Prepare: Draft and process legal documents and correspondence using Microsoft Word.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Senior Level. Specialized knowledge in New Jersey criminal law.
• Experience: 5+ years of New Jersey criminal law experience in a paralegal or legal assistant capacity.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, strong multitasking and organizational skills, takes initiative, proficient in Microsoft Word, and able to perform billable legal tasks.
• Bonus: Bilingual in Spanish.
