What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and legal assistance to attorneys handling insurance defense litigation, contributing to successful case outcomes.
• Document Management: Organize, maintain, and manage extensive case files, evidence, and legal documents pertinent to complex insurance defense matters, ensuring efficient retrieval and compliance.
• Legal Drafting: Assist in the preparation, proofreading, and formatting of various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and correspondence for insurance defense cases.
• Communication & Coordination: Facilitate effective internal and external communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel, and manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and appointments.
• Team Collaboration: Actively collaborate with paralegals, other legal assistants, and attorneys to streamline workflows and contribute to a cohesive and productive team environment within the Hollywood office.

The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires domain expertise in insurance defense within a legal setting.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in insurance defense is required for this position.
