What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Communication: Proactively communicate with clients, ensuring they receive timely and thorough updates on case progress and developments.
• Case Management: Effectively manage overall case volume and progression, keeping litigation dockets organized and on schedule.
• Document Management: Skillfully handle database management for high-volume legal documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Scheduling: Efficiently coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and other critical appointments for attorneys.
• Trial Preparation: Meticulously prepare client documents and comprehensive files for trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations, ensuring all materials are ready.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a dedicated Legal Assistant with foundational knowledge and experience specifically in civil litigation defense.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience is essential for successfully navigating the responsibilities of this position.
• Skills: Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, effective time-management capabilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills. Meticulous attention to detail and quality is crucial, along with proven proficiency in the MS Office suite.
