Legal Assistant Job Description

The Legal Assistant position at Casper Mehlos Law Group involves collaborating with the firm’s criminal and civil litigation team to manage client relationships and implement litigation strategies in complex cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with potential and existing clients to facilitate new client hires, onboarding, and manage client communication.
• Schedule and track litigation deadlines for criminal and civil litigation cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys on litigation strategy and coordinate with executive assistants and legal assistants to implement strategies, including drafting discovery requests, analyzing evidence, and organizing motion and trial preparation materials.
• Research and draft pleadings and motions for civil and criminal cases.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to re-evaluate the firm’s systems to increase efficiencies and analyze case metrics to optimize performance.
• As needed, collaborate with the Executive Assistant to coordinate logistics and planning for attorney travel, manage attorney emails, and assist with executing the firm’s strategic vision for growth.

Required Skills:
