Legal Administrative Specialist – Litigation | Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, located in Los Angeles, CA. This role is crucial for providing essential administrative, secretarial, and document processing support, contributing to an integrated and collaborative work culture within the Litigation Practice Group. The position requires three days per week in the office unless client demands or approved accommodation require otherwise.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Workflow Management: Efficiently manage assignments using BigHand software, ensuring timely updates and proactive communication on task status and new developments.
• Document Processing & Review: Prepare and refine various legal documents, including editing, proofreading correspondence, redlining, and compiling signature packets, exhibits, and schedules.
• Calendar & Meeting Coordination: Maintain attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate complex audio, video, and in-person meetings by reserving conference rooms and arranging set-ups.
• Financial & Travel Administration: Process expense reports, invoices, and check requests, while also arranging detailed travel plans, preparing itineraries, and maintaining attorney profiles.
• Litigation & Project Support: Provide essential legal research, case support, project assistance, and manage new business intake processes and related forms.

The Must-Haves
• Background: At least seven (7) years of administrative support experience, with previous law firm experience and specific experience supporting a Litigation practice, including State and Federal Court rules and filing procedures.
• Experience: A minimum of seven years of administrative support and prior law firm experience are required, with proven experience supporting litigation.
• Skills: Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Portable Document Format (PDF) software.
• Bonus: Flexibility to work overtime is required.
