What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Support: Provide daily administrative support to litigation attorneys, assisting with a variety of ongoing legal matters.
• Document Preparation: Draft, revise, and finalize correspondence, pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for filing and distribution.
• Calendar Management: Coordinate attorney calendars, scheduling court appearances, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
• Case File Management: Open, organize, and maintain both electronic and hard-copy case files, ensuring records are accurate and current.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and vendors.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Experienced professional with foundational knowledge in legal administrative support, accustomed to a law firm environment.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Legal Administrative Assistant, Legal Secretary, or comparable support role; previous experience supporting litigation attorneys and managing multiple active matters simultaneously.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint; ability to prepare and edit legal documents with high accuracy and attention to detail; excellent organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
