What You’ll Actually Do
Document Management: Prepare and organize legal and administrative documents to ensure all files are current and accessible.
Case File Maintenance: Systematically maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness for all ongoing legal matters.
Scheduling and Calendar Support: Assist with the firm’s scheduling and calendar management, including coordinating appointments, court dates, and important deadlines.
Correspondence and Records: Draft clear and professional correspondence and diligently update client records to reflect current information and interactions.
External Coordination & Inquiries: Coordinate effectively with courts and other external offices, and respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Relevant education such as an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in legal studies, business, or administration, or equivalent professional work experience.
• Experience: Demonstrated capability in office administration, particularly concerning document organization, file management, and coordination tasks within a professional environment.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, solid organizational and time-management abilities, proficiency with office technology and software, keen attention to detail and accuracy, and a high level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality.
• Bonus: Prior experience in a law firm, legal services environment, or similar office administration role is highly beneficial.
