What You’ll Actually Do
• Administer: Provide day-to-day leave of absence (LOA) administration for RSM employees and owners.
• Communicate: Respond to LOA inquiries from employees, managers, and HR, proactively sharing timelines and required documentation.
• Coordinate: Partner closely with third-party administrators to track approvals, resolve discrepancies, and administer accommodation requests.
• Process: Ensure all leave-related actions are accurately processed in applicable systems and with third-party administrators for correct employee payment, and facilitate return-to-work.
• Audit: Conduct vendor and HRIS audits to ensure accuracy of LOA records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Others. Core domain knowledge in administering LOA programs and understanding relevant legislation.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year administering LOA programs; Minimum of 1 year using an HRIS.
• Skills: Working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA, FMLA, and other applicable legislation; Excellent written and verbal communications; Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related degree; Ability to communicate complex information meaningfully; Collaborative work style; Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through; Ability to manage concurrent projects and work well under pressure; Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a high-volume environment.
