Job Description: Learning & Development Summer Intern

This is a full-time, 6-8-week (35-40 hours/week) summer internship based in Los Angeles, California (hybrid model with weekly visits to Hollywood and Corona offices). The internship begins in early June 2025 and pays $17.87/hour.

Essential Functions:

Marketing training programs: Promoting and publicizing training opportunities to Fender employees.
Maintaining training calendar: Managing and updating a schedule of all training events.
Developing training materials: Creating wireframes and storyboards for new training initiatives; updating existing training documents and presentations.
Tracking training completion: Monitoring employee participation and completion rates within the learning management system.
Data analysis and reporting: Analyzing training data, identifying trends, and providing data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
Facilitating training (optional): Leading training sessions via Zoom.
Additional duties: Performing other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint and Excel are essential), and experience with virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to create engaging training materials and deliver effective presentations.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting; ability to track metrics and make data-driven recommendations.
• Audio/video editing skills are a plus.
