Job Description: Learning & Development Summer Intern
This is a full-time, 6-8-week (approximately 35-40 hours per week) summer internship based in Los Angeles, commencing in early June 2025. The role is hybrid, requiring a combination of work from office (WFO) and work from home (WFH), with weekly visits to both the Hollywood and Corona offices. The hourly pay rate is $17.87.
Essential Functions:
• Marketing training programs to employees: Promoting and publicizing available training opportunities.
• Maintaining a training calendar of events: Scheduling and organizing training sessions.
• Developing wireframe/storyboard models for new training initiatives: Designing the structure and visual elements of new training programs.
• Updating existing training materials: Revising and improving existing documents and presentation decks.
• Tracking training completions in the learning management system (LMS): Monitoring employee participation in training programs.
• Analyzing data and recommending improvements: Using data to identify areas for improvement in training programs.
• Facilitating training on Zoom (optional, but recommended!): Leading training sessions via virtual platforms.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel) and experience with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging training materials and present information effectively.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting, capable of tracking metrics and making data-driven recommendations for program improvements.
• Audio/video editing skills are a plus.
