Job Description

The A&F Leadership Development Programs are highly competitive initiatives designed to shape top candidates into the future leaders of the company. They offer an entrepreneurial structure and immediate exposure to senior level leaders.

What the Programs Offer:

• A combination of classroom sessions and on-the-job training.
• Mentorship to guide learning in the new role.
• Interactive presentations from senior leaders.

• Preparation to manage a portion of the business in one of their critical Home Office areas.

Potential Career Paths:

Merchandising: Managing the strategy for millions of dollars of product daily. Merchants lead cross-functional teams, understand customer lifestyles and preferences, and capitalize on market trends. They work with designers, analyze sales, and identify growth strategies.
Merchandise Planning: Shaping the financial strategy behind every product. Planners interpret sales, analyze inventory, set financial goals, and adapt to emerging trends. They forecast product performance, establish strategies across channels, and distribute products globally.
Finance: Financial Analysts gain a unique skill set through exposure to multiple disciplines within corporate finance. They are highly analytical and results-oriented, impacting corporate strategy and direction. Opportunities include Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, Treasury, Capital Projects, and Financial Reporting.
Digital & Technology: Generating and implementing new strategic approaches and creating dynamic technology solutions. These roles are remote and focus on applying technology to solve business problems. Analysts and Engineers partner with teams across the company, hone software development skills, and create and uphold technology standards.
Supply Chain: Supporting the global logistics network to deliver products efficiently. Analysts develop skills through rotations within the organization. They synchronize supply and demand and measure global business performance.
Human Resources: The HR team focuses on identifying, acquiring, developing, and retaining talent. They support associates globally and maintain the company culture. The program provides exposure to recruiting, training, and HR Business Partner roles to build a long-term career in HR.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or junior status working towards a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Passion for the A&F brands and the role.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Ability to thrive in team-based settings and collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Desire to take on responsibility and drive results.
• Strong desire for adventure, curiosity, and learning.
• Ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, structured environment.
