About the Job:
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join its team in Dallas/Grand Prairie, Texas. As a key member of our Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality embedded software solutions for our advanced defense systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement software algorithms for RF systems
• Design and architect software solutions
• Provide technical support for hardware/software integration and testing
• Create and execute test plans to validate software functionality
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to ensure seamless system integration
• Mentor and guide junior engineers
Qualifications:
• Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years (US Citizenship required)
• Strong knowledge of RF signals, systems, modulation, demodulation, and signal processing
• Proven experience in embedded software development for defense applications
• Experience with HW/SW integration and testing in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) environments
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Desired Skills:
• Linux/Xilinx tool suite proficiency
• Expertise in C++ and/or C programming languages
• Knowledge of Cameo, software design, and architecture
• Experience with full software development life-cycle methodologies
• Agile development experience
• Experience with DevSecOps and CI/CD tools
