• Mission: Support high profile criminal investigations and prosecutions for the Department of Justice.
• Tech Stack: LEXIS, Westlaw, word processing, databases (document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, imaging, eDiscovery applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Perform complex legal and factual research to build cases.
• Document Review: Conduct intensive document reviews to identify relevant and privileged materials.
• Drafting: Assist in preparing draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda of law.
• Litigation Support: Support attorneys through all phases of litigation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Juris Doctor (Law Degree) with a sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
• Experience: Two to three years of progressively responsible experience on litigation support projects, demonstrating proven capabilities and communication skills for interacting with clients and attorneys.
• Skills: Excellent written and oral communication, thorough knowledge of legal research tools (e.g., LEXIS, Westlaw), hands-on familiarity with computer applications (e.g., word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging), and knowledge of eDiscovery applications and procedures.
• Bonus: Prior experience supporting the Federal Government.
