Our growing company is actively seeking talented college students and recent college graduates to join our comprehensive Internship Program. This is a full-time, paid position designed to provide participants with an unparalleled array of experiences within the diverse landscape industry. We are flexible and can accommodate interns at most of our branch locations nationwide.

The Yellowstone Landscape Internship Program is specifically crafted to immerse students in various critical aspects of the landscape industry, including:

• Management
• Construction
• Tree Care
• Irrigation
• Fertilization
• Pest Control
• Plant Identification
• Crew Management

Responsibilities & Program Structure:

This program has been designed with your professional growth in mind, ensuring exposure to the multifaceted landscape industry. Key features include:

• Customized Learning Experience: A rotating schedule and clearly defined learning objectives are established before your start date. This collaborative process allows the Branch Manager, your dedicated Intern Mentor, and you to develop a program that best aligns with your interests and the operational needs of the branch.
• Dedicated Mentorship: You will be paired with an experienced Account Manager, who will serve as your primary supervisor and a consistent resource for questions or concerns. Your Mentor will share their management philosophy, actively help you develop your own management style, and provide continuous feedback throughout the program.
• Professional Development: We prioritize your professional growth by offering outside activities and networking opportunities designed to enhance your exposure to the broader horticultural environment. Additionally, we host a speaker’s forum covering topics directly relevant to the company and your ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

We are looking for motivated individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a major in one of the following fields:
  • Plant Science
  • Horticultural Sciences
  • Agriculture
  • Landscape Management
  • Urban Forestry
  • Agricultural Mechanization
  • Construction
  • Design or Architecture
  • Business
• Interest & Attitude: A genuine interest in learning all aspects of the landscape industry, coupled with a “can-do” attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Driving Record: A clean driving record is required.
• Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for success within the program and the industry.

Compensation:

Yellowstone Landscape offers a competitive hourly wage for all interns. Understanding the financial considerations of college students, we also provide a monthly housing stipend for eligible students, demonstrating our commitment to supporting your success and well-being during your internship.
