About the Job

We are looking for a Junior Website Designer to help build and launch websites using modern AI-powered tools.

This is a hybrid contract role based in Mount Juliet, TN. Some work will be completed remotely, while other times we may collaborate in person at our home-based office or a local coworking space.

The role focuses on building functional, professional websites quickly using structured systems and AI tools. You will follow documented processes but also apply creativity and judgment to ensure the final site looks clean, professional, and works properly.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building websites, experimenting with AI tools, and learning modern web workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Build websites using Lovable and other modern AI-assisted website tools
  • Follow internal step-by-step SOPs to assemble websites efficiently
  • Create and structure website pages (home, services, contact, estimate pages, etc.)
  • Organize navigation and page layouts
  • Add photos, testimonials, and project galleries
  • Create service pages and location/service-area pages when needed
  • Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and responsive
  • Test forms, links, and calls-to-action to ensure everything functions properly
  • Make layout or content adjustments to improve clarity and usability
  • Perform quality checks before websites are launched

Some projects may involve building larger websites with many pages designed to provide strong online visibility and credibility for contractor businesses.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience building websites using tools such as Lovable, Webflow, WordPress, or similar platforms
  • Is comfortable learning and using AI-powered website tools
  • Can follow clear instructions and documented SOPs
  • Has good instincts for layout, usability, and clean design
  • Is detail-oriented and able to catch small issues before launch
  • Can work independently but collaborate when needed

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

  • Lovable or other AI website builders
  • Webflow
  • WordPress
  • No-code website tools
  • Basic understanding of website structure and SEO
  • CMS platforms

Work Environment

This is a hybrid role based in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.

Work may take place:

  • Remotely from your home
  • Occasionally at our home-based office in Mount Juliet
  • Occasionally at a local coworking space

Compensation

$15-$22 per hour (contract / 1099)

Workload will vary depending on active website projects.
