This is an early career Systems Administrator role at PCI Energy Solutions, located in Norman, OK, with a hybrid work model. In this role, you will be crucial in implementing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability to support critical business operations and enhance technological capabilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement and maintain robust IT infrastructure solutions, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
• Develop and deploy system configurations and software updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
• Implement and maintain security protocols, ensuring compliance with SOC 1/SOC 2 and FISMA requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Core domain knowledge in managing IT infrastructure.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar role. Experience managing IT infrastructure with in-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network administration, virtualization technologies, and AWS Cloud technologies. Must have flexible availability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and support after-hours system maintenance.
• Skills: Operating systems (Windows, Linux), network administration and virtualization technologies, AWS Cloud technologies, cybersecurity principles, problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Associate Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or CompTIA A+.
