Junior Supply Chain Planner
Company: Beauty Industry Group (BIG)
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented individual early in their supply chain career to contribute to BIG’s brand portfolio. As a Junior Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in supporting key supply chain functions within a fast-paced organization, focusing on demand planning, inventory optimization, and supply execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demand & Inventory Planning Support: Support monthly demand forecasting and inventory planning processes.
- Supply Plan Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate supply plans, ensuring alignment with forecasts, promotional activities, and new product launches.
- Risk Identification: Proactively identify and escalate potential supply risks such as stockouts, excess inventory, and long lead times.
- System Data Management: Maintain and update planning data within ERP/MRP systems.
- S&OP Contribution: Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes through data preparation and reporting.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze trends in sales, forecast accuracy, and inventory turns.
- Cross-functional Data Support: Support the Procurement and Demand Planning teams with data and systems accuracy and updates.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Assist with new product launch planning and phase-out strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, inventory planning, or operations. Experience in the consumer goods or beauty industry is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs/HLOOKUPs, and general data analysis.
- ERP Experience: Experience working in ERP systems such (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
- Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of forecasting concepts and inventory management principles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Communication & Collaboration: Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
- Mindset: A growth mindset and a desire to build a long-term career in supply chain.
Work Environment & Compensation:
- Hybrid Expectation: Onsite at our Salt Lake City (SLC) office 1x per week.
- Base Compensation: $70,000 annually.
- Bonus Eligibility: Eligible for a 5% annual bonus.
