About the Job
Role: Junior Sales Associate
Compensation: $80,000 Base Salary + Bonus
Location: Remote (United States only; requires travel for in-person events)

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Junior Sales Associate who is eager to learn, motivated by impact, and excited to build a strong foundation in sales within medical education and events.
This role is primarily remote. However, because our business is built around live educational experiences, in-person attendance is required at our annual conferences and select live events to support sponsors and partners on-site.
Role Overview: Junior Sales Associate
The Junior Sales Associate supports the sales team by assisting with outbound prospecting, lead follow-up, sponsor communications, and sales operations. This is an entry-level role designed for someone early in their sales career who is seeking hands-on training, clear expectations, and a defined growth path.
Responsibilities
- Support sponsorship and exhibitor sales efforts for conferences and educational events.
- Conduct outbound outreach via email and phone to prospective sponsors and partners.
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule meetings for senior sales team members.
- Assist in preparing proposals, sales decks, and follow-up materials.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, outreach, and activity in the CRM.
- Track outreach metrics and assist with basic sales reporting.
- Collaborate with marketing to align outreach messaging and sales assets.
- Support sponsor onboarding and coordination with internal teams.
- Attend training sessions, shadow sales calls, and actively seek feedback to improve performance.
- Provide general administrative and research support related to sales initiatives.
- On-Site Event Support: Travel to and attend live conferences and events to serve as a primary point of contact for sponsors, manage exhibitor needs, and support successful on-site execution.

- Consistently completes outreach and follow-up activities on time.
- Demonstrates steady improvement in sales conversations and written communication.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date CRM data.
- Responds positively to feedback and coaching.
- Builds a strong foundational understanding of LearnHealth’s offerings and value proposition.
- Contributes to booked meetings and overall pipeline growth.
Work Environment & Travel
- Remote-First: Daily work is performed from your home office within the United States.
- Must be able to work U.S. business hours and collaborate with a U.S.-based team.
- Reliable internet access and a dedicated home workspace are required.
- Event Travel: Ability to travel to attend and support live conferences and educational events throughout the year.
- Flexibility: Availability to work on-site during multi-day events, which may include setup and teardown activities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. LearnHealth does not sponsor employment visas for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or a client-facing role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable learning new tools and technology (CRM, email platforms, etc.).
- Coachable mindset with a willingness to learn and improve.
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Interest in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Experience with CRM systems or sales tools.
- Exposure to events, education, healthcare, or wellness industries.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in communicating with professionals via the phone and email.

This role is designed to grow. High-performing Junior Sales Associates will have the opportunity to advance into Sales Associate, Account Manager, or Sponsorship Sales roles as they develop skills and demonstrate results.
