Junior Production Planning & Control Analyst | Wetalentia
The Tone:
This is a full-time, on-site role with Wetalentia, located in Freeland, PA, operating within a food manufacturing environment. We are seeking a hands-on, analytically minded Junior Production Planning & Control Analyst to become an integral part of our production and operations team. This position is crucial for supporting the core manufacturing processes from a strategic planning, scheduling, and operational control standpoint. Initially, the role is designed for deep learning and operational integration, focusing on understanding complex production workflows, mastering SAP system functionality, and grasping our scheduling logic, moving beyond shop-floor operations to critical back-end support. Over time, this role will evolve toward broader planning responsibility, process optimization, and increased involvement in operational controlling.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Schedule Production: Facilitate precise production schedules using the SAP system, optimizing resource allocation and meeting output targets.
• Align Planning: Assist in synchronizing production plans with current demand forecasts to ensure balanced inventory and timely order fulfillment.
• Monitor Performance: Continuously track and report on key production performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends and supporting operational efficiency.
• Analyze Costs: Progressively contribute to cost control initiatives and conduct operational analyses, providing data-driven insights for improvement.
• Collaborate Teams: Work in close coordination with production, planning, and operations teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve production goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a similar analytical or technical field.
• Experience: No specific years of experience required for this entry-level role; comfort and aptitude for working with complex systems and data are essential.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical mindset, a proactive and hands-on attitude, and proficiency in navigating and utilizing enterprise systems and data.
