• Mission: To provide essential project engineering support, conduct detailed analyses, and contribute actively to the efficiency and safety of ongoing mining operations and development projects, ensuring project success and compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Support: Provide essential project engineering support, working closely with senior engineers and project teams to contribute to the overall success of various initiatives.
• Analysis: Conduct detailed engineering analyses to inform critical decision-making processes and optimize current mining operations and future development plans.
• Operational Support: Actively support and contribute to the efficiency and safety of ongoing mining operations, helping to ensure smooth and secure daily activities.
• Field Engineering: Serve as a field engineer for active construction and development projects, gaining practical site experience and overseeing on-site activities.
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare comprehensive technical reports and documentation, collaborating closely with senior engineers to ensure all project deliverables adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a closely related field, with a strong foundational understanding of mining engineering principles.
• Experience: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or eligibility to obtain it in the near future, coupled with a solid understanding of Hard Rock and Hard Rock Mining processes and operations.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective professional interaction, strong teamwork abilities to collaborate within a project environment, strong foundational skills in Project Management, and a steadfast commitment to upholding the highest safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Bonus: Prior experience with relevant mining software is a definite plus for this role.
