Your Role

As a Junior Java Developer at Capgemini, you will enter the Java Academy, an intensive training program that will prepare you to work as a Back-End Developer on complex projects for major clients.

During the Academy, You Will Acquire Skills In:

• Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs.
• SQL/NoSQL databases, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes.
• DevOps principles, testing, and security.
• Utilizing Generative AI to accelerate development and improve software quality.

After the training, you will be placed in the People Unit Java & Opensource, which offers on-premise and Cloud development services, contributing to the digital transformation of our clients.

Your Characteristics

• Technical diploma or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in STEM disciplines (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics).
• Basic knowledge of programming (preferably Java).
• Passion for technology and curiosity towards Artificial Intelligence.
• Teamwork attitude and problem-solving skills.

Job Details

Location: Rome or Milan – full-time for training, hybrid afterwards.

Contract Type: Apprenticeship contract, with salary (RAL) and duration from 18/24/36 months depending on the academic qualification achieved.
