Job Description

As a Junior Engineer, Product Infrastructure, reporting to the VP Engineering, you will be a key contributor to the design and implementation of overall technical architecture and operations. This role focuses on utilizing C++ and object-oriented methodologies to architect and develop robust, scalable software solutions. A primary emphasis will be placed on developing reusable, high-performance systems and processes tailored for high throughput, low latency applications.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the architecture, design, development, and deployment of new and existing high-volume, business critical systems.
  • Contribute to software architecture, designing systems that are robust, performant, and scalable.
  • Develop software using object-oriented C++ following best practices to allow for reusability, maintainability, and scalability.
  • Work with the teams and other members of the team to analyze business needs and design technical solutions and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science; master’s degree in computer science is preferred.
  • Experience with real-time, high throughput, low latency systems.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a professional software development role.
  • 0-3 years of experience developing in C/C++.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in cloud development using Kubernetes, Helm, and/or Docker.
  • Experience with scripting languages – Python preferred, Perl or Shell.
