Job Description: Junior eDiscovery Analyst

The Role: A Junior eDiscovery Analyst plays a key role in the technical aspects of eDiscovery for legal professionals and practitioners, working within the framework of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). This position requires a strong understanding of eDiscovery standards and proficiency in utilizing standardized software tools.

Responsibilities:

eDiscovery Process Management: Utilize industry-standard eDiscovery software (Relativity, Clearwell, Concordance, etc.) and ensure accurate project documentation.
Data Collection and Production: Identify, preserve, collect, and produce Electronically Stored Information (ESI) in response to discovery requests. Manage eDiscovery production and prepare data analysis reports.
Data Handling and Chain of Custody: Maintain proper data handling procedures and a clear chain of custody throughout the eDiscovery process.
Technical Expertise: Conduct complex Boolean searches and generate reports within eDiscovery platforms (primarily Relativity). Process, ingest, and organize native files from various digital media sources.
Client Interaction and Deadline Management: Maintain daily contact with clients and work effectively in high-pressure, court deadline-driven environments.
Quality Control and Expert Witness Testimony: Identify and address data quality issues and provide expert witness testimony as needed.
General Laboratory Functions: Perform other laboratory functions as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• Travel up to 20%
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days per week on client site)
• 6+ months of eDiscovery experience
• Experience with standardized eDiscovery software tools (Relativity, Clearwell, Concordance, etc.)
• Experience with the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Relativity experience
• Legal eDiscovery experience
