Role Description: Junior Drafter/Designer and Project Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding full-time, on-site position based in Nashville, TN. As a Junior Drafter/Designer and Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of project lifecycles, from initial concept to final delivery. This includes meticulous management of timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and Execution: Collaborating closely with clients and internal teams to conceptualize, create, and execute innovative designs for staging products and custom sets.
• Technical Drawing Management: Producing and managing precise technical drawings, ensuring they meet manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
• Project Oversight: Coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring projects adhere to both creative vision and technical requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintaining clear, consistent, and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and a diverse group of employees, to provide updates and manage expectations.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying and resolving potential issues to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring all project deliverables meet Accurate Staging’s high standards for quality, precision, and aesthetic appeal.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following:

Required Skills & Experience:

• CAD Software Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in Vectorworks or other CAD software is required. Candidates must be willing and eager to learn and master Vectorworks if not already proficient.
• Project Management Acumen: Strong foundational skills in project management, encompassing planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
• Collaborative & Client-Focused: Proven experience in collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams and maintaining positive, productive client relationships.
• Technical Drawing Expertise: Knowledge of technical drawing creation, interpretation, and application for manufacturing processes.
• Problem-Solving & Multitasking: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality or deadlines.
• Communication & Organization: Outstanding communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Theater Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Industry Experience: Experience in event production or stage design is a significant plus, demonstrating direct relevance to our specialized industry.
