About MacGregor

MacGregor is a global company operating in 30 countries with 2000 employees. We specialize in providing sustainable cargo and load handling solutions with a strong portfolio of products, services, and solutions for the maritime and offshore industries. Our innovative solutions are integral to over half of the world’s merchant fleet.

We believe MacGregor is a great place to work and actively seek innovators with an international mindset to join our team. Our goal is to create lifetime value for our customers, and we invite you to help us shape the future together.

About the Role: Junior Customer Support & Logistics Specialist (Account Support)

Join MacGregor in Houston, Texas, and become a critical link in the global supply chain. We are looking for a Junior Customer Support & Logistics Specialist, internally known as an Account Support professional, to manage the entire spare parts process—from initial inquiry to on-time delivery.

If you are detail-oriented, driven by customer satisfaction, and eager to own complex logistics challenges, this role is for you. As the primary point of contact for our maritime customers, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of spare parts requests, ensuring our customers’ equipment remains operational worldwide.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all spare parts requests, managing the full cycle: creating quotes, processing orders, and providing timely follow-up.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any challenges to delivery timelines, collaborating across internal teams (logistics, technical support, finance) to find quick, effective solutions.
  • Develop strong customer relationships, understanding their needs to provide tailored support and becoming a trusted partner.
  • Take full ownership of customer challenges, ensuring commitments are not just met, but exceeded. Log and manage claims, complaints, and non-conformances.
  • Work with colleagues to determine the root cause of issues and actively challenge current processes to drive continuous improvement in our service delivery.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

We are looking for a candidate who is ready to take ownership and thrives in a dynamic, international environment.

Must-Haves:

  • A customer-first mindset with a strong passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a detail-oriented, structured approach to work.
  • Desire to take ownership of issues and drive them through to resolution.
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills to navigate complex operational issues.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Fluency in an additional language such as Spanish will be considered an advantage.

Why MacGregor?

Our people are the driving force behind every success. They create the technology and product lifecycle solutions that define us, innovate continuously, and propel our business forward. With MacGregor, you will be part of an international, collaborative working culture offering challenges and opportunities for professional development.

We enable sustainable global maritime operations by maximizing efficiency in cargo and load handling.

Our Guiding Values:

  • Integrity: Steers all our thinking, behavior, and relationships with our customers and other stakeholders.
  • Quality: Valued in our processes, products, and services, helping to improve our customers’ performance and our own competences.
  • Safety: Essential in everything we do.
