The Tone:

What You’ll Actually Do
• Backend Development: Contribute to backend development efforts using Java and Spring Boot within AWS environments.
• Microservices Support: Support the development and enhancement of microservices-based solutions.
• API Implementation: Assist in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs for application functionality.
• Systems Integration: Help integrate applications with various databases and external systems.
• SDLC Participation: Participate actively in code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and support application deployments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–3 years of overall software development experience, with 1–2 years of hands-on Java. Direct experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, or API Gateway.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem, basic understanding of RESTful API development and microservices concepts, familiarity with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) and basic SQL, and a basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and Git.
• Bonus: Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker, familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS) or caching technologies (Redis), and working knowledge of front-end technologies (Angular, React, or similar).
