Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Details

• Job Title: Junior Accountant
• Location: Plano, Texas
• Pay Range: $75,000 – $80,000

What’s the Job?

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Support month-end and and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting procedures and processes
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and documentation

What’s Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
