The Tone:
This is a full-time role at LHH, located in Nashville, TN. This Junior Accountant position is an integral part of the Finance & Accounting department. The role is critical for supporting core financial operations, including reporting, data management, and reconciliation, which ensures the company’s financial accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Assistance: Assist with preparing financial reports and statement reconciliation activities.
• Data Management: Enter and maintain accurate financial data related to sales & fuel tax for multiple states.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and various financial transactions.
• Billing Support: Provide support for the billing and accounts receivable (AR) process.
• Closing Activities: Participate actively in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; Entry-Level.
• Experience: No specific years required (recent grads welcome); solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions, is required.
• Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, good communication skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
• Bonus: Internship or volunteer experience in accounting or finance, familiarity with GAAP or corporate taxes, or exposure to tools like QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Mas90, or other ERP systems.
