About the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD)

The Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) holds the distinction of being the fourth-largest school district in California, situated in the southern part of Sacramento County. The district encompasses a vast area of 320 square miles and is home to 68 schools, including 43 elementary schools, nine middle schools, nine high schools, five alternative education schools, an adult school, one charter school, and a virtual academy.

Requirements

Candidates interested in this position must meet the following qualifications:

  • USACC Certified
  • Must be an officer or a warrant officer.
  • An accredited 4-year degree is required.
  • Possession of a Designated Subjects Special Subjects Reserve Officer Training Corps Credential.

Compensation and Contract

The pay scale for this position is based on an MIP-11 month contract.
