Jr. Paralegal | Greenberg Traurig, LLP

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, located in Atlanta, GA. Greenberg Traurig (GT) is a global law firm with locations across the world in 15 countries, committed to providing legal services to clients worldwide. This role is crucial for supporting the Litigation Team by assisting attorneys and paralegals primarily with discovery, trial preparation, and various administrative tasks. Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, team meetings, training opportunities, and building relationships within the firm.

• Team: Litigation Team, reporting to a Litigation Shareholder
• Mission: Provides assistance to litigation attorneys and paralegals, primarily in the area of discovery and trial.
• Tech Stack: Windows-based software, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), E-filing, Relativity, Concordance, Live Note

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Production: Prepare legal document productions.
• Document Review: Proofread briefs and other legal documents.
• Drafting: Draft routine correspondence, memorandums, and discovery requests/responses.
• Database Management: Maintain and update case and document databases.
• Trial Support: Assist with trial preparation efforts including creating trial notebooks, identifying and organizing exhibits, working with witness schedules, and maintaining trial calendars.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree required, focused on supporting litigation attorneys and paralegals.
• Experience: One to three years of litigation experience; law firm experience is preferred.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), high attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to a fast-paced environment, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Bonus: Certificate in paralegal studies from an accredited institution; Certified Paralegal; experience with E-filing and litigation support applications such as Relativity, Concordance, and Live Note.
