Job Summary

As an IT Support Technician I, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support and assistance to users.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assisting with the setup and deployment of new devices.
  • Maintaining accurate records of issues and resolutions.
  • Updating service desk work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring a positive customer support experience.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (e.g., PCs, mobile devices, desktop phones).
  • Diagnose and resolve software issues (e.g., business applications, desktop software).
  • Diagnose and resolve network issues (e.g., wired, wireless, VPN).
  • Assist with the setup and deployment of new PCs, tablets, and phones.
  • Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the IT Service Management system (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Update Service Desk work instructions which inform incident analysis and resolution.

Key Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or other related certifications; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education, certification, and/or experience.
