Job Description:
This posting is for an IT Summer Internship within Trane Technologies’ early career student program. Lensa, a career site, is promoting this job on behalf of Trane Technologies and is not directly hiring for the role.
• Job Title/Program Type: IT Summer Internship, part of Trane Technologies’ early career student program. It is a 12-week opportunity.
• Program Purpose: The program is designed to provide current college students with challenging assignments, leadership training, valuable exposure to the company’s senior leaders, and networking opportunities.
• Potential Assignments: Interns may gain exposure to various assignments, including:
• Project Management
• Business Analysis
• Supplier Management
• Infrastructure
• Application Management
• Future Opportunities: Participants in the student program will have an opportunity to interview for Trane Technologies’ full-time, post-graduate Accelerated Development Program for IT or direct hire opportunities upon graduation.
• Work Schedule: This position has been designated as a Hybrid work schedule, requiring work to be performed onsite 3 days each week.
• Work Locations: Position locations include, but are not limited to: Bloomington, MN; Davidson, NC; Columbia, SC; Minneapolis, MN.
• Compensation:
• Base Pay Range: $21.50 – $26.00 per hour.
• Total compensation for this role will also include a commission/incentive plan.
• Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages, and actual base pay may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, and the geographic location where the work is performed.

• Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s (BS/BA) degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar majors.
• A cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0.
• Minimum of at least one internship or prior work experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, such as participation in campus organizations, serving as a sports team captain, being a resident advisor, or exhibiting exceptional leadership in work projects.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or possess the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
