Job Description: IT Internship Program
Arcadia Beverage is offering an IT Internship Program designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a supportive environment. As an IT Intern, you will work alongside experienced professionals to support day-to-day technology operations, contribute to impactful projects, and gain exposure to real-world challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution setting.
What You’ll Do:
• Participate in an orientation program to familiarize yourself with company culture, safety protocols, and program expectations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and food safety by following company rules and standards, enforcing requirements, and communicating violations or concerns to the leadership team.
• Support IT Operations: This includes tasks like setting up user accounts, managing login credentials, and assisting with software installations and hardware setups.
• Help document IT processes or contribute to SOPs (standard operating procedures), especially if aligned with engineering or continuous improvement projects.
• Responding to basic IT support tickets (e.g., password resets, printer issues).
• Logging and escalating more complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Tracking recurring problems to help identify systemic issues.
Your Development Opportunities:
• Conduct interviews with managers to learn about their roles, career paths, and receive career advice.
• Deliver a leadership presentation showcasing your summer outcomes and learnings.
• Participate in midpoint and end-of-internship assessments to discuss achievements and areas for improvement, adjusting project goals as needed.
• Benefit from four coaching sessions with the program coordinator to support your growth and development.
What We’re Looking For:
• Student enrolled in an accredited university or community college majoring in any relevant technology field.
• Experience or familiarity with computer hardware and operating systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• General understanding of networking, SaaS, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to work in a team environment to share opinions with co-workers, colleagues and peers about successful projects, problematic projects, and varieties of techniques.
