Role Overview:

As an IT Auditor Intern, you will join the Globe Life team for Summer 2026 to provide assurance and advisory services to Globe Life Inc. and its subsidiaries. This involves evaluating the internal controls and risks within the company’s technology environment and infrastructure.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in preparing audit programs, under the direction of Internal Audit management.
  • Meet with and interview audit clients and external Auditors.
  • Participate in meetings with clients and audit team members.
  • Assist with testing controls and preparing workpapers.
  • Assist in the completion of the company’s Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance efforts.
  • Prepare and document draft audit findings and recommendations, supported by accurate work papers for review by Internal Audit management.

What You Can Bring:

  • At least an Incoming Junior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience with data analytics, using SQL, ACL, or IDEA, is a plus.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively both orally and in written correspondence/reports.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to assimilate and summarize information.
  • Ability to analyze information and come to a conclusion.
  • Technical competency in Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL). Ability to create, format, and develop analytical spreadsheets.
  • Ability to make independent judgment and initiative to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks using problem-solving and analytical skills.
