We are actively seeking inquisitive and innovative interns to join Pinterest’s dedicated IT team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, configuring, implementing, and supporting Pinterest’s vital Enterprise Applications. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams, gaining invaluable insight into how large-scale internal systems are architected, automated, and integrated. This internship offers the unique opportunity to ship real configurations, services, and integrations that significantly streamline how our “Pinployees” (Pinterest employees) operate. Expect to engage in meaningful projects, receive support from dedicated teammates, and discover abundant opportunities to explore ideas that create a measurable impact for both Pinterest and our global Pinners.

What You’ll Do:

• Actively engage in a specific, impactful project within the Pinterest IT team, focusing on technical solutions for real-world use cases within the Enterprise Systems domain.
• Gain hands-on experience in critical areas such as configuration management, system architecture, integration strategies, and comprehensive systems analysis.
• Develop robust automation scripts designed to enhance existing processes and significantly reduce manual tasks, improving operational efficiency.
• Provide essential technical support, including meticulous troubleshooting and effective resolution of issues, for various SaaS platforms across different business areas.
• Collaborate extensively across major SaaS platforms, including but not limited to Jira, Confluence, Slack, and other widely used software stacks that underpin our internal operations.
• Create and meticulously maintain technical documentation for system processes and configurations, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
• Openly communicate new ideas and opinions, contributing to your professional and personal growth while seizing all available learning and development opportunities within Pinterest.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience or demonstrated exposure to SaaS tools, engineering tools, and process mapping methodologies.
• A genuine passion for automation, consistently seeking opportunities to reduce manual efforts and enhance efficiency.
• The ability to confidently present your work to both technical and non-technical audiences, effectively communicating complex concepts.
• Current enrollment in a school or education program, actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS/MIS), other engineering disciplines, or a related technical field.
• The ability to obtain your Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IS/MIS, other engineering areas, or a related technical field by June 2027.

Internship Start Dates:

We offer two distinct internship start dates to accommodate academic schedules:

• May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026
• June 15, 2026 – September 4, 2026

Compensation and Benefits:

At Pinterest, we are committed to fostering an equitable, inclusive, and inspiring workplace for every employee. In line with our commitment to transparency, we are sharing the base salary range for this position. The final salary will be determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to location, travel requirements, relevant prior experience, and specific skills and expertise.

The minimum and maximum monthly salary for this US-based intern position is $7,500 – $9,000.
