Job Description: IT Internship
Arcadia Beverage is offering an IT Internship designed to provide students with hands-on experience in a manufacturing and distribution environment. The intern will work alongside experienced professionals to support day-to-day technology operations and contribute to impactful projects.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in an orientation program to familiarize with company culture, safety protocols, and program expectations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and food safety by following company rules and standards.
• Support IT Operations: Setting up user accounts, managing login credentials, and assisting with software installations and hardware setups.
• Help document IT processes or contribute to SOPs (standard operating procedures).
• Responding to basic IT support tickets (e.g., password resets, printer issues).
• Logging and escalating more complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Tracking recurring problems to help identify systemic issues.
Development Opportunities:
• Conduct interviews with managers to learn about their roles, career paths, and receive career advice.
• Deliver a leadership presentation showcasing summer outcomes and learnings.
• Participate in midpoint and end-of-internship assessments.
• Benefit from four coaching sessions with the program coordinator.
Requirements:
• Student enrolled in an accredited university or community college majoring in any relevant technology field
• Experience or familiarity with computer hardware and operating systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• General understanding of networking, SaaS, and cloud platforms
• Ability to work in a team environment
