About the Role
This IT Intern role involves applying basic PC build fundamentals, identifying process improvement ideas, and quickly learning enterprise PC building software tools to gain corporate experience. You will join a global team providing PC hardware and software support to 1,500 employees, specifically focusing on PC delivery to US employees and improving PC build processes using enterprise tools for efficient deployment.

What You’ll Do
• Configure, assemble and install laptops, workstations and/or peripheral equipment.
• Update and maintain team documentation.
• Provide user orientation on standard hardware or software.
• Support the business by engaging in tasks as assigned in order to expand learning and bring fresh perspectives.

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field).
• Have strong familiarity with Microsoft Operations Systems.
• Possess a basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
• Have experience with troubleshooting and providing support for IT-related issues.
• Possess knowledge of IT security best practices.
• Have basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Are familiar with Windows operating systems.
• Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Can multitask and stay organized with multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Can provide professional written and verbal communication.
• Can remain customer focused with all aspects of the job.
• Possess PC configuration and troubleshooting skills.

Bonus Qualifications
• 6 months experience with PC support or PC builds.
• CompTIA A+ Certification or progress.

Role Highlights & Compensation
• Preference will be given to candidates who are based in the St. Louis area and available to continue part-time during the academic year.
